The Fynn is one of Worthing’s finest micropubs — a cosy, conversation-first spot tucked into the shopping parade on Goring Road, in what was once a gentlemen’s clothing shop. It opened in 2017 under the name The Georgi Fin, changed hands in 2024, and was renamed The Fynn — a nod to its roots. The parquet floors have been sanded back, the interior freshened up, but the soul of the place is exactly as it should be.
Inside you’ll find four cask ales served direct from the barrels in a cool room, rotating regularly with a mix of local Sussex breweries and some further afield, alongside keg beers, real cider, wine, and prosecco. Music is always on and live music nights are a regular fixture — so expect a proper atmosphere alongside the excellent beer. High and low wooden tables seat around 30, and there’s some outside seating at the front for warmer evenings.
Rated 4.7 on Google from nearly 500 reviews, The Fynn has earned its place as a genuine neighbourhood gem. Dog-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and with both ladies and gents facilities (unusually good for a micropub), it’s a relaxed spot that rewards repeat visits. There’s a quiz night too, if you fancy testing your general knowledge between pints.
